We are here to welcome any passionate individual willing to come with us on this astounding ride through history.

...
How:
You'll be followed by three of us each day:

- Elisa Bianchi: ...
Dan Milner is an award winning action sports photographer, with more than 20 years experience as a pro. He has documented some of the World’s most challenging adventure and expedition assignments and his work regularly appears in many of the World’s quality press. His commercial clients include Trek Bikes, Yeti Cycles, Osprey Packs, The North Face, Giro, Shimano and Voelkl Skis.
The night before the first riding day will welcome you to the adventure and will be aimed to know each other, get acquainted to Dan's work and experience, and set the tone of the days to come. It will be the chance to ask questions, requests and start feeling what this expereince is all about.
After that, each day will start with a short brief of the day...in front of a coffee of course. We'll introduce you to the locations, timetable and, mainly, focus points you'll be working on. Depending on where the discussion of the night/day before has lead, we'll start moving to the first location. Dan will carry a very interactive clinic where you'll be able to go deep on many aspects of action-sports photography. Each day will touch different sides of it with the added value of having immediate feedback to each shot in every moment of the day for a very quick learning curve.
As in every proper italian experience, food will, of course, be central to the day! We'll focus on planning the best lunch stops we can.
The Workshop will cover:
Fundamentals of equipment set up for action and adventure photography
The importance of aesthetics in composing your shot
How to spot photo opportunities on location
How to direct your athlete to maximise a photo’s potential
How to introduce a more dynamic feel and better depth to the story
Fundamental post production techniques for better output
Included in the price:
professional archeologist, museum operator and trekking guide
professional, English speaking expert mountain bike guide
E-Bike rental and protections
tour's planning and logistics
Requirements:
bring your own camera, know at least the basics of it and how to use them
bring your bike (if rental is needed make sure that is requested in your signin-in request) and apporpriate equipement
IMPORTANT: the workshop is open to any photographer. Your equipment can go from the best, top-of-the-line camera and lenses to your point and shoot with zoom. As long as it is your camera and you are comfortable with how it works.
A mountain bike and equipement are required though we will not be riding too far —this is an enjoyable photo workshop, not an arduous expedition.
